Digital Marketing Analyst – Paid Media.

Description of role:

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Analyst who can provide data driven insights, and deliver actionable inputs to our digital team that will help optimize current campaigns and future investments. This position will be hands-on, coordinating data aggregation, build the relevant dashboards and templates to support reporting efforts. This position is a hybrid work model.

Specific responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Develop and compile digital media reports spanning digital platforms (Google Data Studio, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Programmatic etc)
  • Partner with the rest of the digital marketing team to compile and validate data sets and turn them into actionable insights and recommendations that are in line with client expectations.
  • Support on-going (weekly, monthly, quarterly) reporting and ad hoc analytics requests.
  • Build visual dashboards for clients.
  • Staying on top of the latest trends in the industry (web analytics, SEO, SEM, Paid Media, campaign managements) to spearhead new quantitative and qualitative methodologies to identify growth opportunities.
  • Support new business opportunities that include a digital focus, which may include research, presentation decks and case studies.
  • Ad hoc projects based on client and department requests.

Skills and requirements:

  • BA in marketing, communications or related degree
  • Digital media buying and marketing experience of 2+ years’
  • Proficiency with Google Data Studio, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and Google Analytics. Experience with Programmatic platforms is a plus.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong data analytics background specifically in digital media.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects; a self-starter who can take initiative and follow through on projects.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Seeks advice from peers and staff and asks questions to better understand the business and tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Desire to learn new skills and ability to pick-up new tools and projects as needed.
