Senior Digital Marketing Strategist – Paid Media.

Description of role:

We are seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Strategist that understands how to achieve success through digital advertising channels (search, display, social, video, etc.). The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys interacting with people and achieving excellence through attention to detail and strategy. They identify strategic opportunities for clients, analyze and interpret data in a clear and concise manner, optimize campaigns and make recommendations to accomplish client goals. They will also coordinate efforts both internally and externally to maintain project timelines.  This position is a hybrid work model.

Specific responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Serve as a digital lead for multiple client accounts.
  • Manage media buying and campaign management of client accounts, both independently and collaboratively with the team.
  • Execute and build advertising campaigns in all channels, as well as set up conversion tracking.
  • Oversee quality assurance client campaigns
  • Optimize all campaigns for assigned clients based on performance KPIs.
  • Present campaign insights to clients and strategize on current and future campaigns to accomplish goals.
  • Develop and compile monthly advertising reports and present them to clients, delivering an educated view in campaign performance, insights, and next steps to accomplish strategic objectives.
  • Maintain and report on advertising trends, and work with the team on new implementation within the ad team.
  • Support new business opportunities that include a digital focus, which may include research, presentation decks and case studies.
  • Strengthen existing relationships with digital partners, specifically Facebook, Google Ads, Pinterest and Snapchat, while also leading troubleshooting processes.
  • Create opportunities to advance the agency’s digital service offerings to drive bottom-line results for our clients.
  • Ad hoc projects based on client and department requests.

Skills and requirements:

  • BA in marketing, communications or related degree
  • Digital media buying and marketing experience of 3-4 years
  • Proficiency with Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and Google Analytics. Experience with Programmatic platforms is a plus.
  • Strong data analytics background specifically in digital media.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects; a self-starter who can take initiative and follow through on projects.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Seeks advice from peers and staff and asks questions to better understand the business and tasks.
  • Displays strong customer service skills.
  • Strong presentation skills in a client-facing environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
