Scott Semaya.

VP, Media Director

What do you do at Sound?

As Media Director I get to stay involved with all of our clients’ Media Needs. My Background is in the traditional TV and Radio Markets along with Sports Sponsorships. I love being able to create custom programs for our clients that fit their traditional marketing needs.

What’s the most exciting part of your job?
Unlike Traditional Large/Holding Companies, I Love to be able to connect with our clients on programs that make the most sense for them and not for the shareholders of the Agency. Nothing is better than having a client reach out to you after a campaign to tell you the real world (sales) success they are seeing from recommendations you and your team have made.

What’s something you find challenging about your work?
New Technology. As the media world continues to evolve it is a challenge (albeit a fun one) to stay on top of all the new offerings the media vendors are offering us. Of course, we like to see as much information as possible before we recommend to any of our clients.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

Good chance you will find me at a Yankees Game or at the beach with my Wife and Daughter.

What’s your go-to karaoke song?

Paradise by The Dashboard Light if you want to get the crowd involved. Otherwise something by Bruce Springsteen, hey I’m a Jersey Guy at heart.

Pineapple pizza – Yay or Nay?
NAY Pineapple is a fruit. Pizza needs to be Plain or Meat. None of those vegetables (OK, maybe peppers/onions or mushrooms).
